Yesterday I attended the launch of the Government’s Violence Against Women and Girls 'ENOUGH' Campaign with Minister for Safeguarding, Rachel Maclean MP.
I was honoured to debate the Gracie's Law petition for stalking advocates last month; "There is often a lack of role models, and a lack of people who can say, “No, that is not right.” There is a challenge around that. It is not impossible to overcome, but we must undoubtedly focus on and acknowledge it, and we must present pathways to ensure that it does not escalate to a point where women and girls are threatened."
