On Thursday Mark Fletcher held his penultimate village hall meeting in Palterton.
After sending out letters to Hillstown, Palterton and Scarcliffe, Mark held his penultimate village hall meeting at Platerton village hall to discuss various local issues with residents.
A range of issues came up, including discussion about building on the green land, including on the farms surrounding the three areas. Debate about COVID-19, how best to manage the pandemic and the effectiveness of vaccines were also hot topics.
Commenting after the event, Mark said:
“Tonight’s meeting has been fantastic and the discussion has been really lively. The great things about these village hall meetings is that you just never know what’s going to come up in discussion and tonight didn’t disappoint.”
