Mark Fletcher MP spends times on patrol around Bolsover to see the challenges to policing in the area
Last week, Mark spent some time on patrol in the local area with the Bolsover Safer Neighbourhood Team to hear about both local policing priorities as well as the challenges our policy officers face in the area with particular discussion being held around the topic of anti-social behaviour and what could be done to best tackle it in the Bolsover constituency.
Mark recognises the importance of having a capable police force in the constituency and has been keen to support their activities, supporting various measures introduced by the Government.
Commenting on his time with the Bolsover neighbourhood team Mark reflected,
“I would like to say a massive thank you to the police for the taking the time to invite me along on one of their patrols. It was a fantastic opportunity to hear more about the positive work they are doing in the community and hear more about the challenges that they face first-hand. I would also like to thank the police not only for the vital role they play in keeping us safe but for how they continued to conduct themselves despite the added pressures of the pandemic. They are truly the best of Bolsover.”
