Mark Fletcher has backed Team GB in Tokyo on what has been a tremendous day 3 which saw Britain win 3 gold and 2 silver medals.
Team GB have made a strong start to the Olympic Games in Tokyo winning medals in a wide range of sports and building on the successes which we saw at both London 2012 and Rio 2016.
Day 3 saw a number of gold medals in the pool and diving, with Tom Daley taking Olympic gold for the first time and Adam Peaty defending his breaststroke title from Rio, whilst Tom Pidcock took gold in the mountain biking. Many medal hopefuls will be in action throughout the remaining 11 days of competition and hopefully the country will really get behind Team GB and then next month show similar support for the athletes that will compete for Team GB in the Paralympics.
