Mark met with Holmewood and Heath Parish Council on Thursday to discuss local priorities for the parish and residents.
During the meeting Mark discussed a number of issues with local councillors and how they might be able to work together on priorities at the parish. Anti-social behaviour, problems surrounding the safety of junction 29 and concerns regarding the impact of HS2 on Heath village were discussed.
Mark agreed to follow up with another meeting on anti-social behaviour and provided updates on the other main issues brought up in the meeting.
Speaking after the meeting Mark commented:
“I’m really grateful for the Parish Council taking the time out of their busy schedule and speaking to me about some of the issues that matter to residents here in Holmewood and Heath.
“I know how important it is to tackle anti-social behaviour, get clarity regarding the impact of HS2 and make substantial improvements to the layout of Junction 29.
“I’m very pleased to be working with the Parish Council on these issues and glad that we share the same priorities and I look forward to working with them further in the future.”
