Mark Fletcher MP has backed plans for a new health centre in Creswell to deliver improved health services in the area.
Last week, Mark Fletcher wrote to Derbyshire Clinical Commissioning Group in support of the proposed development. The development will look to replace the two existing health facilities in the village, meaning residents will have access to modern fit for purpose health facilities.
Since Mark’s election in 2019, he has been meeting with the Chairman of Crags Health Care Patient Participation Group to discuss the importance of the project to residents in the local community.
Commenting on the proposals, Mark said:
“Getting new health provisions in Creswell so that residents have access to modern, quality healthcare provisions in their local community is incredibly important. All of the communities throughout the Bolsover constituency deserve the very best healthcare that the UK has to offer.
“I was pleased to have met with Cllr McGregor last month to visit the proposed site and discuss the importance of the development and what it will mean for residents here. I know there are many people in Creswell that want access to modern healthcare provisions.
I’d like to thank Cllr McGregor, and Derek Steff for their hard work on this issue and on behalf of residents in the village.”
