Mark Fletcher greatly enjoyed his visit to Hydro Aluminium in Tibshelf to see the great work they are doing in our constituency.
Hydro Aluminium extrude aluminium that is then used in various buildings and developments, such as the recent King’s Cross Station extension and the NHS Nightingale Hospitals. They are an industry leader in the UK in production of aluminium products, with reach across the world including North and South America, while employing over 150 people in Tibshelf.

They have done so well to continue business through the COVID pandemic and have put into place a range of measures to ensure that they are able to keep working as much as possible. I know they pride themselves on their health and safety record and have won numerous awards for the work they’ve done, which will be vital to keeping their workers safe and healthy as the months go on.
This pandemic has taught us that there are some fantastic businesses here in the Bolsover constituency that have rolled up their sleeves and managed to keep going and I am confident that business will continue to thrive here in our area.”
