Mark Fletcher today welcomed the announcement of over £400 million of funding to help our iconic cultural and heritage organisations across the UK to reopen and recover following the Covid-19 pandemic.
Bolsover will benefit from over £1.28 million of support for organisations across the constituency, including Creswell Heritage Trust, OPUS Music and KB Event Ltd.
This announcement is part of the unprecedented Culture Recovery Fund of over £2 billion to support arts, culture and heritage organisations in the UK, with over 2,700 organisations benefitting in England alone. This is the largest one-off investment in the arts in UK history, and Mark is proud of the Government’s support for the industry to bounce back following the effects of Covid-19.
