On the anniversary of her murder – tributes have poured in from across the House of Commons to the late Jo Cox MP.
4 years ago today, Jo Cox was tragically murdered. In what can only be described as one the saddest days in recent history.
Remembering Jo Mark commented:
‘’I had the real pleasure of meeting Jo on a number of occasions, she dedicated her life to public service, to equality and to justice, and she died because of that effort.
Today, I take a moment to think of her family, and to reflect on her words that are now more apt than before: ‘We are far more united and have far more in common than that which divides us’.
Let us dedicate ourselves to that message, end the divisiveness, have compassion towards one another, and work together to achieve great things for this country.’’
