Mark took time out of his busy schedule to speak to the Minister for Rough Sleeping and Housing to see how homelessness can be tackled here in the East Midlands.
Mark Fletcher met with Luke Hall MP, the Minister for Rough Sleeping and Housing, to discuss ideas for tackling homelessness in our region. With the pandemic hitting jobs, livelihoods and businesses, the Government is determined to have a concrete plan to tackle rough sleeping.
Mark said:
‘’A lot of good work has been done during the past few months and it’s important we don’t lose that momentum. I’m delighted that today the Government has announced an additional £105 million to ensure that rough sleepers and vulnerable people in emergency accommodation do not return to the streets.’’
