Following a challenging 6 months - Mark Fletcher and Lee Rowley paid a visit to Chesterfield Royal Hospital to see how staff were getting on.
Last Friday Mark visited Chesterfield Royal hospital with North East Derbyshire MP Lee Rowley to see the brilliant work the staff and volunteers there are doing. The local MPs spoke to Emma Costello, Voluntary Services Coordinator, to see how things were at the hospital.
The first wave of the pandemic had been incredibly challenging for those working at the hospital. Chesterfield Royal Hospital and the brilliant staff there have raised to the challenge posed by COVID-19 so far and are busy preparing for the winter period ahead.
Mark commented:
‘’I'd like to say a massive thank you and well done to all the staff and volunteers that are there and have worked so selflessly to get the hospital back to where it needs to be.
They've done a brilliant job in ensuring that services continue to run throughout the pandemic and it's testament to their hard work and bravery on the front line against this pandemic.
The key message I have is that if you need the services that the hospital provides then come along as they are here and ready to help.’’
