Mark and local conservative councillors have joined together to campaign for improvements to me made to major Barlborough roundabout.
Mark Fletcher MP joined local Bolsover District Councillors David and Maxine Dixon and Councillor Natalie Hoy in Barlborough to speak about planned improvements to the Treble Bob Roundabout.
Over the last few years the roundabout has struggled to cope with the growth of traffic and housing in nearby areas. This has led to large build ups of traffic on the roads causing traffic jams and congestion through the nearby local villages.
Mark Fletcher said:
"I will be writing to the D2N2 business hub and Derbyshire County Council along with our local councillors to ask for the funding that will be needed to take this project forward.
We need to ensure that our infrastructure is fit for the future as we level up throughout the Bolsover constituency. If we are to attract the jobs and investment, we need to take Bolsover forward, then we need to ensure our transport links are fit for purpose.’’
