Mark Fletcher paid a visit to Creswell Crags to discuss issues that the Crags have faced over the last few months, as well as it's long-term future.
Today Mark visited the iconic Creswell Crags to discuss challenges faced by the charity over the course of the past few months, as well as discussing the long-term future of the attraction.
Many charities have found the last few months difficult following the national lockdown with revenues falling as customers have been told to stay away.
Mark commented:
"I was delighted to pay a visit to Creswell Crags to speak to the team about some of the challenges that they've faced, as well as their long-terms plans and whether there are any issues on the horizon.
We have some amazing tourism destinations in the Bolsover constituency and Creswell Crags is one of many. Ensuring that we have a thriving local tourism industry is one of my top priorities and so I'm keen to help the Crags as much as possible in my role as our local MP."
The Government has been supporting many charities and venues throughout the Bolsover District and will continue to do so throughout the pandemic, ensuring that these brilliant venues and charities are here for years to come.
