Today the second phase of the Self-Employed Income Support Scheme (SEISS) has launched.
From today those who work for themselves across the Bolsover constituency will be able to apply for up to £6,570 in the next phase of support through SEISS.
The pandemic has affected so many self-employed workers throughout the Bolsover constituency. The grant will be a lifeline for many people throughout the area.
Mark welcomed the next phase of funding:
"I know how difficult the last few months have been for so many people throughout the constituency, including the self employed.
This grant has been a lifeline for the approximately 3,200 people that have claimed the grant so far throughout constituency. I know how important it has been for those that haven't been able to work over the last few months.
From the start of the pandemic, the Government have been clear, we will put our arms around the British people and support them throughout the pandemic."
This is the second phase of the scheme will replace up to 70% of earnings for those that have lost out on work over the last couple of months.
