Mark Fletcher has strongly welcomed £125 million of funding to help local councils support survivors of domestic abuse.
The Government has announced £125 million of funding to be provided to local councils to support the victims of domestic abuse. This includes just short of £1.5 million of funding to support services in Derbyshire - including £32,000 that will go directly to Bolsover District Council.
This funding will help those who have suffered domestic abuse access vital services such as advocacy. safe accommodation and therapy.

This follows on from the brilliant work the Government has done in passing the Domestic Abuse Bill which will help break the cycle of abuse for so many people.
This is a cause that is close to my heart and and I have regular contact with the police and local authorities on the matter."
This announcement follows the Government's landmark Domestic Abuse Bill which will help ensure that those who suffer from domestic abuse are able to break the cycle of abuse and get on with their lives.
