Last week, Joe from Bolsover joined my team in Westminster, and in my constituency office, for some Work Experience. Joe is studying his A'Levels at Dronfield Henry Fanshaw School, including in Politics. It was a pleasure to welcome him to the team, show him around Westminster and have him accompany me on some visits in the constituency. I hope that he found the experience worthwhile - he was certainly a great help to my team.
We offer a few of these placements each year through our schools and nearby colleges and sixth forms, and it can be a great opportunity for those interested in entering the world of politics to learn what we actually do every day.
