Last Friday evening Mark Fletcher visited the annual Bolsover Beer Festival as Bolsover Town Centre looks to bounce back from the pandemic.
After a tough 18 months for high streets and town centres, Bolsover town centre hosted one of its main showpiece events, the Bolsover Beer Festival.
Residents from all over the constituency came to Bolsover to sample different beers, ales and gins from local producers. The event is one of Bolsover town centre’s main events and will be one of many events that looks to promote the town as a great destination to come and spend a few hours.
Mark commented on the visit:
“I’ve loved coming to the Bolsover Beer Festival this evening and I’m glad the bad weather just about held off for us to come out and enjoy some of the local produce.
“It’s brilliant to see we have so many talented brewers and distilleries in our local area and it’s been amazing to come and listen to some live music and grab a drink. It's a shame I couldn't stay for long as I've really enjoyed tonight.
“These kinds of events are great for Bolsover and we need to continue bringing more people into the town. I’m keen to keep developing the area through the Bolsover High Street Taskforce working with other stakeholders.”
