Mark virtually met with Whitwell Parish Council at their AGM to discuss work on shared goals and local issues.
On Wednesday evening Mark Fletcher met with Whitwell Parish Council to discuss shared goals and working together on the residents priorities. Many local issues were discussed including the condition of roads and concerns about noise from the quarry.
Mark took away a number of actions and intends to meet with the Parish Council on a regular basis in the future to keep working on the issues that matter to residents in the village.
Mark commented:
“It’s been great to come and meet Whitwell Parish Council and attend their AGM. I’m very grateful to Cllr Munro for the warm welcome and thank him for chairing the meeting.
The Parish Council work incredibly hard for residents and continue to make Whitwell a lovely place to live and I’d like to put on record my thanks for their hard work.
It’s been really good to come and chat about some of the issues we can work together on and look at how we can make progress on them.
I’d also like to thank Darren who leads Whitwell Scouts for the invitation to come and see the work they’re doing. Thanks as well to Jeanne for inviting me to come and see a production by the Whitwell Players, I'm looking forward to it.
I look forward to having the chance to visit soon.”
