Mark Fletcher today wishes all those who celebrate the Easter period a Happy Easter Sunday.
Easter Sunday is one of the most significant days in the Christian calendar, marked in the UK with Bank Holidays to commemorate Good Friday and Easter Monday as part of Holy Week. With school holidays also convened around the Easter Weekend it is typically an opportunity for families to get together and celebrate the occasion.
Easter Sunday this year falls before the UK is set to continue with Step 2 on the roadmap to unlocking some of the Covid-19 restrictions imposed this year. Mark hopes people will continue to adhere to social distancing rules and legal restrictions while enjoying the Easter weekend and celebrating the occasion.

Mark has spent most of the Easter weekend and recess period campaigning across Bolsover, meeting constituents and local councillors ahead of May’s local elections. Mark will continue to be out and about across the constituency and is looking forward to meeting more people in the coming days.
