Mark Fletcher has today welcomed news that the Covid-19 vaccine produced by Moderna has been approved for use in the UK.
The Moderna vaccine becomes the 3rd Covid-19 vaccine approved for use by the independent Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) here in the UK, alongside vaccines by Pfizer/BioNTech and Oxford/AstraZeneca. In addition to the 7 million doses of the Moderna vaccine that the UK has pre-ordered, we have managed to secure another 10 million doses of the vaccine.

Today’s news is another huge boost for the UK’s world-leading vaccine rollout, which will hold the key to allowing our country to reopen and recover as quickly as possible.
