Mark Fletcher has today welcomed the news that public sector workers, including doctors, teachers and police officers, will see above inflation pay rises this year.
The Chancellor announced today that the pay rise would go ahead for public sector workers to reflect the vital contributions that they make to our country. These pay rises cover the Armed Forces, teachers, police Officers, the National Crime Agency, prison Officers, doctors and dentists, the Judiciary, senior civil servants and senior military personnel.
Mark said
“This pay rise reflects in no way the huge contribution that our fantastic public services have made during the COVID-19 pandemic. However, this is a small thank you to those that have made the Bolsover constituency run as smoothly as possible over the last few months and have saved countless lives.”
