Mark Fletcher MP visits the Riley Foundation and SENDS to see the good work they do to help children with special needs across the constituency
Today Mark climbed aboard the Sensory Bus – a bus augmented with state-of-the-art sensory equipment for children with special needs – on his way to Tibshelf to visit SENDS’ Support and Play this half term. There, Mark saw the amazing work that was done to provide access to advice, support packages, alongside the brilliant events that the organisation hold. Whilst he was there, Mark also spoke to Eloise and Mel from SENDS support and the Riley Foundation to speak about the role they play across both the constituency and the county.
Commenting on this visit Mark said,
“It was great to get and see the wonderful work that SENDS and the Riley Foundation do in our local area. The support that they provide to families, schools, and organisations in regard to helping children in the area with special needs is fantastic. It is my hope that groups such as these get all the support that they need, particularly given the times we are in, so as to best help them continue the amazing work that they do here at Tibshelf, Bolsover, and all over Derbyshire.”
