Mark Fletcher has been working with the National Lottery discussing the provision of funding for local projects to reduce waste and improve our carbon footprint. The National Lottery has such a fund available and Mark today wants to share that link with Bolsover Constituents.
The National Lottery’s Climate Action Fund is designed to support small or local groups to undertake projects that address climate issues in their area. This is now the second round of funding that has been made available as part of a £100 million investment over the course of 10 years.

“If you are one of the brilliant community groups we have here in the Bolsover constituency I would encourage you to apply for this funding. This fund was launched to address waste and sustainable consumption, so if you are a member of an organisation that is involved in helping our community to reduce waste and improve our carbon footprint then this fund is designed to support you and your work”
Mark is proud of the beautiful green space and countryside across the Bolsover constituency, as well as in the nearby areas across the East Midlands and in the Peak District.
Mark has also prioritised Bolsover’s green credentials as part of ongoing campaigns to attract more skilled jobs in emerging industries and improve short-term tourism in the area.
