This week Mark Fletcher met with members of FareShare to see the brilliant work they’re doing in our community.
FareShare is an environmental charity that do some incredible work to reduce food waste from food producers and sellers such as supermarkets. Over the last year they have distributed over 21 tonnes of food, equivalent to over 50,000 meals, to various organisations, providing vital help during the Covid-19 pandemic.

“I was very lucky to spend some time with FareShare for an incredibly informative visit. I was interested to learn more about the challenges that existed in the food industry and of course I would like to pay special tribute to the amazing work of all the volunteers that work many hours at FareShare. Without them, it wouldn’t be possible for them to deliver the food and support that they do.”
