On Tuesday Mark invited residents to his Arkwright/Long Duckmanton Village Hall meeting to discuss local issues in the villages.
Continuing his series of village hall meetings, Mark held the latest instalment of his summer programme at the Arkwright Centre to speak with residents about a range of issues.
During the meeting a number of concerns were raised, including house building, litter around junction 29a as well as issues with parking and grass verges.
Commenting after the meeting, Mark said:
“I’ve really enjoyed tonight’s meeting with residents. Tonight has been a really lively discussion and residents have raised a number of issues that I’m looking forward to getting stuck into.
“As always I want to thank those who gave up their evening to come and speak to me. It’s so useful to be able to come and speak to residents about the issues that are important to them in these meetings.
“I’m looking forward to the next few meetings before the end of the summer recess.”
