On Saturday Mark Fletcher attended the Pleasley Scarecrow Festival to see some of the fabulous creations around the village.
The event ran over the weekend and was hosted by Pleasley Parish Council and has run in the past. This year’s event boasted a range of characters and creative designs, including Deadpool.
Mark commented:
“It’s great to come and see some of the brilliant designs residents here in Pleasley have been coming up with. It’s these kinds of events which bring our communities closer together and get people out speaking to neighbours.
“The Parish Council have put on a great event and I’d like to thank them for doing this on behalf of the community here.
“Whilst this event finished there are lots of other similar events around the constituency that are happening at different times. Whether it’s the Palterton Flowerpot Festival or other scarecrow trails, there are lots of events to visit and I’d encourage people to go out and make the most of them.”
