Derbyshire County Council has launched its Beacon of Hope Awards to celebrate those who have gone above and beyond for their community.
Mark Fletcher is encouraging residents to nominate groups and individuals who have made a positive difference to their community during the COVID-19 crisis.
Commenting Mark said:
“We have some amazing organisations and individuals throughout the Bolsover constituency who have gone above and beyond to support others throughout the pandemic.
These awards will highlight the brilliant work of those individuals and organisations and be a celebration of the best Derbyshire has to offer.
I know that there are many potential award winners right here in our constituency and I would encourage people to nominate those who have made a positive difference over the course of the last 12 months.”
The Derbyshire Beacon of Hope Awards will look to highlight organisations and individuals across all different sectors who have played a key role in supporting their community.
