Mark Fletcher has asked the Government to support his plans for better bus services ahead of his bus survey launch next month.
Next month Mark is launching his Bolsover bus survey. With many villages throughout the Bolsover constituency having poor transport links and connections, its vital that local bus services are fit for purpose.
Ensuring that our towns and villages have the transport links they need is incredibly important for many people right throughout the constituency. Some villages have been left isolated due to changes in bus services, leaving many cut off from the wider region.
Mark hopes to launch his bus survey next month which will seek to better understand where issues with bus routes and connectivity exist in the constituency. This information will be vital in developing a plan for better bus services throughout Bolsover.
Commenting Mark said:
“I’m looking forward to launching my Bolsover bus survey next month. I want to get as much information as possible about where there are issues in the coverage of our bus services throughout the constituency.
“The information will be incredibly useful when working with the Council to inform our approach and find solutions to the problems that many of us are familiar with. It will let us build up a fuller picture, proving better outcomes for re-working our bus services.
“I’m pleased that the Minister has agreed to come and listen to residents ahead of the launch.”
