I strongly condemn the appalling and unprovoked attack President Putin has launched on the people of Ukraine.
Alongside further military aid to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, I fully support the strongest possible economic, diplomatic, and political response to this terrible act of aggression.
Democracy and freedom must prevail over evil and tyranny. It is time to make Vladimir Putin suffer the consequences for his heinous and barbaric crimes against peace.
