Mark has called on residents to pay a visit to local attractions this weekend to mark the start of English Tourism Week.
Following the recent visit from the Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport to Bolsover Castle, Mark has encouraged residents to pay a visit to a local attraction this weekend.
The 22nd of May represents the start of English Tourism Week throughout the country and Mark is calling on residents to go and visit a local attraction they might not have visited before.
Commenting Mark said:
“Following the visit of the Secretary of State for Culture a couple of weeks ago I’m really keen that we continue to promote our brilliant local tourism industry in the Bolsover constituency.
We have some absolutely amazing local attractions to spend some time at this weekend. Whether you’re looking to visit on of the larger attractions in the constituency such as Bolsover Castle or Creswell Crags, or looking for something more low key such as visiting one of the brilliant local pubs or restaurants here in the constituency, there’s something for everyone.
We have the makings of a really successful tourism industry here in the constituency and English Tourism Week is a brilliant chance to celebrate that.”
