Yesterday I was very pleased to welcome the Minister for Arts, Lord Stephen Parkinson to our constituency. We first visited Creswell Crags. They received funding from the Government’s Culture Recovery Fund which has enabled them to expand their offering, improve facilities and attract more visitors from across the globe. We were able to walk along the prehistoric limestone gorge and potential UNESCO world heritage site, and we were thrilled to be able to visit Robin Hood's Cave, and see the largest collection of medieval Witch marks ever found in the UK, alongside some of the oldest verified cave art in the country.
I very highly recommend visiting if you haven't been - you can find more information on their website https://www.creswell-crags.org.uk/
