This morning I had a very interesting visit to ITM Power, who are world leaders in green hydrogen technology, in Sheffield to learn more about the hydrogen industry and the benefits it can provide to our communities.
After my tour of the factory, I had the opportunity to visit a nearby hydrogen refuelling station to practice filling up a hydrogen car.
I am currently working with partners, like ITM and Motive, on plans for a hydrogen refuelling station in Bolsover to help decarbonise our transport sector and attract skilled & high paid jobs in low-carbon industries
